Most people from out of state come to Sarasota expecting to find a real estate selling at fire sale prices. NOT true! If you want that go to Miami. We had hyper appreciation 2003 - 2006. We had investor enthusiam and did over build. But, significantly less than most all other Florida communities. Prices have decrease about 20 - 25%, year over year decline in sales has reversed and property is selling at a stepped up pace. Don’t miss this opportunity to buy.
